Personality: Luna although very intellectual, can be extremely naïve in social situations. She is usually an easy going, humorous person, although she is the opposite in the field. On the field, she becomes serious and makes her comrade’s safety her main priority. Luna is a very emotional and sympathetic person. She feels deeply for many people and things. Despite her emotional interior, Luna tends to keep her feelings inside until she can let them go in an unhealthy emotional break down. In battle, Luna is very analytical and logical. If it weren’t for her logic, many of her actions would be solely controlled by emotion.

Hair color/length: Luna has naturally wavy, gray hair that reaches a little longer than her shoulders. Usually arranged in a messy fashion. She has gotten scolded for the arrangement of her hair as she doesn’t put it up during battle. It can considered a safety hazard by other cadets.

Appearance: She has a very average body type and carries herself gently. In battle, she sometimes seems taller because of the way she takes authority and holds her shoulders back. She has English features with an upturned nose and naturally blush dusted cheeks. Her facial features are very soft which leads people to believe that she is younger than she actually is. Her teeth were artificially straightened at a young age and she maintains her dental hygiene extremely well. Many male cadets would comment on her lack of chest, but would state that her curvaceous figure makes up for that lack.

Character Information

Likes: Socializing, sleeping, and tea.
Luna loves to social with people. This includes talking, sharing, and eating meals with people. It usually doesn’t matter who Luna talks to as she is habitually talkative.

Ever since Luna became a trainee, sleep has always been somethings she’s cherished. Squad members and roommates are aware of how much Luna dislikes to be woken up. Grudgingly, she does wake up in the morning, but not without a sour attitude.

Tea is something very dear to Luna as it reminds her of her mother. She likes lavender tea, lemon tea, chamomile tea, green tea, rosemary tea… I think you get it. You can usually find her with a cup of tea and a book during free time, but this isn’t as often as she would like.

Dislikes: Loud people, cheese, and preparing meals.

Fears: Titans, death, and the dark.
Titans are an obvious fear of Luna’s. Although she has encountered titans more times than she can count, they are still more terrifying to her than anything.

As much as anyone else would be scared of death, so is Luna.

The dark is an irrational fear she has.

Motivations: Outside the walls, friends, and adventure.

Just like Armin, what lies outside the walls is what Luna craves for the most. Since she was a young child, she would read encyclopedias about the world before titans, before the walls. She wants to explore the different terrains and climates.

The safety of all her friends is a main priority of hers. She fights and hard for her comrades, to assist the ones alongside her and to avenge the late ones.

She walks to walk freely outside the walls without fear, anxiety, or 3DMG.

Character History

Luna Elias was born within the safe confines of Wall Sina. Her family was quite wealthy and successful. She had a father, mother, and an older brother. Her father was a lawyer and her mother was a teacher. Luna’s childhood was incredibly comfortable and happy. She was raised to be knowledgeable as her mother schooled her and her older brother within their house. Luna enjoyed learning, and as soon as her unquenchable thirst for knowledge was out of her mother’s abilities, she began to take classes at the college within Wall Sina at the age of 9. Luna’s life was carefree for the most part, but as she got older, she couldn’t ignore the talk of Titans as she walked past chatty Military Police officers.
Luna (then 12) and her older brother were sent by their mother to visit distant family members in Shiganshina district. The reason for the sudden visit to distant relatives has always been strange and unknown to Luna. Wall Maria inhabited the poorest of humanity, so this visit would have to take some getting used to as it was much different from the luxuries of her home in Wall Sina. The day Luna and her brother arrived in Shiganshina was the day they broke through Wall Maria. Almost as quickly as she stepped off the ferry, the ground rumbled underneath her. The rest was a blur to Luna. But as she watched from her seat on the ferry retreating into Wall Rose, she realized that no matter status or wealth, titans don’t give a damn who you are. Whether you are a child or an elder, all you are is food. Luna would never forget the way they ate people through glassy, tear glossed eyes.
Luna and her brother were transported into the safety of Wall Rose with everyone else. Her brother became a makeshift refugee doctor and Luna was sent off to become a trainee. After rigorous training, accompanied by loneliness and tears, she joined the Scout Regiment for the sheer purpose of discovery. Even as she traveled outside Wall Sina to Shiganshina, she was amazed at the diversity of the people and area. Through books found at the academy, her craving for adventures outside the walls only grew.
Luna has proved herself as a worthy captain through determination and sacrifice. Now she is a captain to her own squad. She hasn’t had contact with her parents since that day, and her brother, using his new found skills, went back to Wall Sina to become a doctor.

Extra: Luna is exceptionally skilled in the performing arts as she began to take piano and cello lessons from her mother at the age of 5.
