Personality: Generally, Luna is very outspoken as she wants to make sure that everyone knows where she stands, this can lead to her being very stubborn, but she is never one to call out a superior - though she makes a point to do it behind their backs. Around friends, she is always the one making sure everyone has a smile on their face and is often found making jokes at the expense of others, though she tends to apologize afterwards if she feels as if she might have hurt someone's feelings. She takes her training very seriously and is not one to fool around in class. She is mostly noted as being a team leader and knows which calls to make, but her decisions are often rash and - while some of them are genius - others only prove to result in injuries and even death. Which is why she spends many a night up studying, so she can be ready when he is called to battle. While actually fighting, she can be described as always making quick decisions and cutting things close, but she is willing to do everything to make sure that she makes it back alive. She is always first priority and while she cares about her squad, he tends to put himself first which can cause friction between herself and her team. Despite this, her teammates usually trust her judgement due to her charismatic approach to explaining her plans of action.

Appearance: Luna, while petite, holds herself with an air of confidence that makes most people forget about her short stature. When not in uniform, she can be found wearing any assortment of things, though usually it tends to be a long-sleeve black shirt with some kind of khaki slacks or shorts. She has a rather small chest - something that she will deny to the death of being insecure about - , lightly toned legs and arms, and an all-around fit athletic body due to years of training. She has a sprinkling of freckles across her nose, cheeks, shoulders, and forearms and she is always quick to cover them up.

Character Information

Likes: Drawing - Luna has been drawing ever since she was a little girl and she finds it to be a relaxing activity that reminds her of home. Writing - Luna finds time to write mostly everyday whether it be about just the events of the day or just a quick little thing to go along with some kind of doodle of hers. Horse-Back Riding - Ever since she could remember, Luna has been around horses. Her family owned some while she was growing up and she has always found that she had a special connection with them.
[*]Dislikes: Parties - Luna has always had bad experiences with parties and finds that she now can't stand them due to the fact that she was exposed to so many while she was a child. Dogs - She has always had a strong dislike for dogs - her father had owned several - and she thinks that they are much too loud and always seem to scare the horses and cats. Injustice - It was instilled in her by her mother, that she must fight against rules that were unfair to others and that seemed to have stuck.
Fears: Abandonment - She fears the day when no one will listen to her or notice her and walk past as if she is not even there due to the fact that she was ignored by her father for most of her life. Death - Just like any soldier Luna fears the day that she might die at the hands of a Titan and she fears this most because she will not have lived her life to the fullest if she has not made it outside the walls. Mutilation - If Luna is anything, it is vain. She has seen some of the soldiers that have made it back from the claws of death and she would rather die than live with some kind of disfigurement.
Motivations: Family - she wants to prove her family wrong and prove to them that she is just as capable as anyone else and that she can rise through the ranks and become some respectable. Seeing the world - it has always been her dream to see the outside world and witness firsthand what life is like without the fear of Titans. Power - while her brother inherited the family business, she wants - needs - another route to power so she can show up her father and brother.

Character History

Background: Luna was born inside the very inner walls and has lived a posh and simple life without fear of anything. That is, until she stole a book from her father's library that described in vivid detail the trials and tribulations of the Survey Corps and their mission to take the world back from the Titans' grasps and present it back to humanity. It was from then on that Luna vowed that she would be in the forefront of this mission so all the generations that came after her would read about her heroic journey in history books. As time passed and Luna matured she threw this fantasy away in favor of taking over the family textile business until her father announced that he would be handing over the company to her less than qualified little brother, Oliver, as opposed to her due to the fact that she was not male. Enraged with her father, Luna left the inner walls to become a scout in an attempt to prove to her father that she was just as useful as any other man and that she would rise in the ranks. It was in the academy that Luna learned the skills that she needed to survive outside of the walls and where she proved her promise as a reliable member of the Survey Corps. Though she was not in the top ten of her regiment, she placed an impressive 21st and promptly joined the Survey Corps where she has continued to grow and prosper. Though her first encounter with actual Titans ended in defeat – a number of her squad was killed due to a failed plan of hers – she has since improved her reputation by demonstrating her skill and intellect in the following battles.
