Ryoga grew up in the Shigenshina district with his family,he had two siblings and parents who had loved and respected him until the wall broke down and his siblings and father had been stepped on in front of him. His mother was the only other one alive but he got onto the boat without her. When he arrived in the Trost district he was sad and lonely. He had cried until he was taken in by a family of civilians,he decided to become a member of the military. He had tried to keep his rage down by going to church. He had made many friends since then. He now has a respect for life and is grateful for anything he receives. He wishes that the world will be a better place. He has hopes to become the one to change the world. He tries to save any life he can. He swore to avenge his family and try to destroy all titans. He cherishes his friends because he does not want to see them die like his family. He tries to befriend anyone he meets. He is always hungry because he believes it can keep his strength up. He supports his friends through every hardship they face. He likes to read and train everyday to ready himself for tests. He is brave because he has seen something much more terrifying than most things. He is calm and thinks things through before doing anything. He is laid-back and usually does not like to much after he trains, this is usually when he reads. He doesn't care as much about himself as he cares for others. He always jokes around and talks with others.He usually follows others' orders except in battle where he is reckless.He doesn't break the rules and follows them happily. He hates the titans because of the incident. In battle he takes on a leader role. He is extremely reckless his teammates think he is suicidal during a battle.

Character History

Background: Ryoga was born in the Shigenshina district where his family of five lived. He was happy everyday and was a regular happy boy. He exercised and studied everyday  until the age of eleven when the titans broke wall Maria and when the Colossal titan arrived and stepped on his family in front of his face. He was traumatized but rescued by his mother who brought him to the boat while she couldn't join him on the boat. He had cried from sadness and loneliness for at least two days. He arrived in the Trost district and was adopted by a family of civilians. He learned to live with and love his new family. His new family tried to help him with religion.He became a better person after that. He made a lot of friends that year and tried to forget about the incident. However,he could never forget about the incident that had killed his biological family. Whenever someone talks about it,his sadness for his family and hatred for titans grew. He decided to join the military at age twelve to avenge his family and save the human race. He has been training hard to join the Scouting Legion. At first,he thought that it would be the hardest thing he has ever done but he decided that it was worth it to see the dead titans. He had a hard time adjusting in the first year but his friends helped him to adjust. He had made a lot of friends that year that helped him train,physically and mentally. He grew more mature and started to like girls. He found a few trainees of the same religion and they became friends. They prayed and worshipped together everyday. It didn't hurt that one of them was a cute girl he liked. He tried to help her train so she would get stronger but she wasn't meant for fighting. She told him that she was going to give up. He tried to convince her to stay but she was never meant to fight titans and she was too gentle as well. He was very sad when she gave up and he hadn't seen her since. It is now his second year as a military trainee.
