Leona made her way to where she'd set up the incubators near the training grounds. She was dressed in the typical military uniform a teal shirt under her brown scouts jacket. With no need for her 3d gear while collecting eggs she'd left it behind. Her face had obvious scratch marks on it, made by the sharp talons of the mother hawk who's nest she'd raided and her crimson hair was a mess, several wild layered strands having been pulled and fallen out of her ponytail. Horus sat perched proudly on her shoulder. Even though they were hunting with in wall Rose he still felt he'd done his part in keeping an eye out for titans. Leona simply hopped he'd be so diligent when his help was actually needed.
Grabbing a rag from her pocket she whipped some of the blood from her cheek before unloading the seven eggs she'd managed to collect from a bag hanging from her shoulder in to the incubators. "If we don't get any volunteers soon we'll end up training all of these chicks our selves." Leona spoke to Horus, the keen eyed falcon tilting his head curiously as he looked at her with those piercing eyes as if trying to figure out what it was she was telling him.
Once she was finished with the eggs Leona pulled something from her pocket as she stood up. Unwrapping a piece of raw meat she handed it to Horus who happily tore it apart and ate it. "Think they'll reassign us soon?" She asked her falcon, which seemed to simply be Leona's way of thinking out loud. She'd been with out a squad sense becoming the only survivor of her former squad when they become stranded out side the wall with out horses.
