Alexander has a very jolly personality outside of training and battle, although most of the times he shows a bored expression on his face, complete with a blank stare on the eye. He tends to hang out with his friends whenever he is not training or on a mission since he feel more comfortable when his friends are surrounding him. Trustworthy and honest, Alexander won't just scatter any news for no reason which is why his friends trust him with their secrets, although, Alexander is not that kind of person who easily trust anyone, even his friends. Whenever his friends require help or assistance, he won't hesitate to help, since he treats his friends and teammates more like his family. He likes to sleep a lot, he sleep anytime and anywhere he wants, mostly on his spare time. Even if he sleep a lot, he still keeps his schedule and wakes up on time to go to training or missions. Deep inside, Alexander is a sad person, he hides this feeling by hanging out with his friends and showing his jolly nature at most times.

During battle or training, his personality seems to change. He won't underestimate any of his enemies and would normally give his best at all fights. Calm and collected, he is very serious and calm during battle and he takes every training seriously, he never would like being beaten or failing. Alexander won't hesitate to go to any mission outside the wall, even if it can get very dangerous at times. Although, Alexander knows his limitations, he won't be doing careless decisions that can possibly kill him. Alexander isn't really a type of person who is good at becoming a leader, he is more fond of accepting orders from the leaders than giving out the orders. Alexander won't hesitate following his leader's orders, although he won't be doing it if he knows that the order is bad and that it won't benefit the team at all. When in a situation that he is a leader though, he won't do any decisions that would lead his team into harms way and he won't be just ordering his team to do some unnecessary things.

Due to an event that happened back at the past, Alexander had a big hatred towards titans. Alexander won't just carelessly attack titans though, he's not that insane and suicidal. Although, sometimes he tends to get very angry whenever a titan would kill a friend of his, leading him to rage on the titan and would sometimes just charge and attack the titan. To avoid this, Alexander conditioned himself to be as calm as possible when facing these kinds of situations, so most of the times Alexander won't show his anger and sadness. Although, sometimes it's just unavoidable being angry, especially if a titan just ate his closest friend right in front of him, that won't be too good of a sight.

Alexander has a slightly tanned skin tone due to him being under the sun for most of his training. He also have a grey hair color. Alexander's hair covers up his ears and reaches up to his neck, his bangs cover up his right eye at most times. His eyes are light brown in color. Alexander has a normal build and is a bit muscular due to him training a lot. Most of the times, he has a blank stare at his face which he has even if he is having an intense fight. He wears the normal uniform for the Scouting Legion. When not wearing the uniform, Alexander would be seen wearing a shirt varying in color every time and a long sleeved coat either black or white, it depends on what he grabs on his drawers to what color combination of clothing he gets. Normally, he doesn't care to what he looks like, so he won't normally fix himself up, mostly, only on special occasions are the times when he gets to really fix his his hair and clothing.

Likes:

- Fighting : It is a way for him to release his anger which he keeps inside at most times.

- Training : When he has time to spare, he train alone. He thinks that training lets him become a better fighter and would someday be one of the best.

- Sleeping : Sleeping helps him get relaxed after all those training and fighting, so he tends to sleep a lot whenever he has the chance.

Dislikes:

- Titans : He hated Titans from the start, but after a certain event from the past, his anger became bigger towards Titans.

- Loosing/Failing : He is a very competitive person who hate loosing and failing at things he do at most. Loosing/failing makes him feel useless and weak, so he avoids being lost at something and failing at something.

- Getting His Friends/Teammates Hurt : Whenever someone/something hurts his friends, expect those who had hurt them given some beating. He doesn't like seeing his friends and teammates hurt and he would try to protect them at most times.

Fears:

- Death : He doesn't want to be dead, especially a death by a Titan. Although, he is willing to die for the sake of many. Even if he fears death, he is still willing to go on dangerous missions outside the wall.

- Being Left Alone By His Friends : His friends are what he treat as his family since he already has lost his family. Loosing his freinds would mean that he would be left all alone by himself.

- The Actual Loss of His Parents : He still have the hopes of finding his parents, this is the main reason to why he still kept on accepting missions outside the wall, for the hopes of finding his parents. He is afraid that his parents are really dead and that there is no more chances of finding them.

Motivations:

- His Parents : His hopes of finding his parents alive kept him motivated to continue his life and duty as one of the Scouting Legion, accepting the missions outside the wall in hopes of finding his parents.

- His Big Brother : For him, both his brother and his parents were great and exceptional role models. He is motivated by his brother and also his parents to do better on his duty as one of the Scouting Legion, on the hopes of becoming a great one just like them.

- Titan Hatred : His hatred for Titans kept him motivated to kill them one by one and to wipe them off the face of earth, attaining peace and getting a normal life without the walls and the fear of being eaten by these Titans.

Character History

Background:

It was a normal Sunday morning for them. Alexander just woke up from bed and went up to his parents to greet them good morning. Alexander entered the living room and looked up at his parents who seems to be preparing their equipment."Mommy, Daddy where are you going?" "Mommy and Daddy won't be out for too long okay? So be good with your brother." Her mother said. Alexander's father slowly walked towards him and to his brother and knelt down in front of them, "And son, we love you, both of you. So be safe okay? Mom and Dad would come back as soon as possible. I promise." Told his father as he gave Alexander a hug "Yeah dad we know that." Alexander's brother replied. His mother walked towards them and hugged them together with his father. Hooves of horses were heard outside their house as they gave each other a tighter hug. His parents gave both of them their last kisses before they exited the door, his father leaned back at them, "Be safe."

Alexander lives in a small, simple house in Trost with his parents, Ginn and Aleli Hexller, and his brother, Alexis Hexller. Lucky that he has not experienced the wall breach on Wall Maria since he was still very young then at 3 years of age, so his view of life was normal. Their life was simple enough, nothing out of ordinary except that they live inside a big wall, not perfect but it's what some may call, great. His parents were both a part of the Scouting Legion as both of his parents were great fighters. His brother and him look up to their parents, making them their role model. Alexander's brother is 9 years older than him and is always mentioning to him on how he would be a part of the Scouting Legion and to how he would be one of the greatest scout there. When Alexander was 5 and his brother was 14 their parents both left the wall for the need of their assistance on a mission. They were used to this since they do this most of the times, although they did not know that it would be something different this time. Months have passed and their parents were still nowhere to be found. His brother and him attempted to get information from the higher officials about their parents, there were no respond. Until one day, a bloodied survivor entered the walls, his parent's teammate. He sent information about the death of the group and the others being lost, Alexander didn't believe it, he knows that their parents were just stuck somewhere, lost. According to the survivor, there were a stampede of Titans which was unexpected by their team to happen, there was a bloodbath and a feast for the Titans. Alexander wants to know more, although the man died a day after due to blood loss.

"No! I'm not loosing you like our parents!" Alexander grabbed his brother by the back of his uniform. It has been only a few months since his brother graduated from the training and is now a full pledged Scout. Alexander knows that his brother sill can't handle what is currently happening at Wall Rose. "I'll be fine okay!? So be safe." "That's what father said before we lost him!" Alexander is now close to tears, he can't loose his only close relative now, not at this point. "I'll be back" His brother took Aleaxnder's hand off of his uniform and shot his gear at the side of the wall. Alexander was left behind, weeping.

4 years passed and his brother joined the legion. Alexander was 9 then and was secretly copying his brother every time he trained. Alexander was aspiring to be one with the Survey Scouts. But then, there was another breach, now at Wall Rose and now their District was being attacked by Titans. Alexander's brother saved him by bringing him to Stohess District for refuge. His brother was assigned to go and assist the other Scouts who are currently fighting the Titans who have breached inside. It was another loss for Alexander. He climbed on top of the wall to watch his brother, making sure that he'll be safe. But he regretted his decision of watching. He saw his brother being eaten by a 15m Titan in one bite. Alexander cried and cried after seeing this, now he's all by himself with his anger at Titans even greater. But he decided to stand up and joined the Scouting Legion. At the age of 18, he joined the legion. He went to the same training that his brother once got. After months of training He finally got his Gear. It was one of his unforgettable moments in life.

After months of training he is now finally one. It has already been exactly a year since he joined and is now a strong Scout of the Legion. He thinks there is still a lot of room for improvement and is ready for those improvements to come. He still has the hopes of finding his parents outside the wall and the urge to wipe off every Titan in the face of earth to avenge his brother, and possibly, his parents.
