Personality:
Yuuki comes off as a rather trustworthy, loyal and devoted individual. This is because she portrays a serious demeanor towards her job. Being a soldier in the Scouting Legion is not exactly something that you can do without trust in each other, however there are some cases where she lacks that when she does not truly believe in the other she is going to work with. Yuui is also unmerciful when it comes to Titans, as she finds it frustrating and even hateful as they kill humans just for the fun of it.

She shows respect and concern for her colleagues, pledging a protective streak over them when in combat. She also tends to scratch the back of her head when she is thinking hard or feeling uncomfortable.

However, despite having a nice and even gentle personality, she has a darker side where the Scouting Legion will become familiar with soon enough. This “second” personality could be triggered by several things such as a wrong comment or when she gets in a tight spot in order to defend herself. She calls this side of her “Yuuka”.

Yuuka is more of a loner type but would co-operate with others when in times of need. She easily gets angry and resorts to violence, going as far as to break everything when she gets extremely angry. She can also be a bit sadistic which could creep out other people. But despite all of that, she can be occasionally sweet to the ones she’s not angry with.

Yuuki is a girl of a somewhat average height with black hair, styled into an undercut. Her hair is a bit longer than shoulder height. Over her arms there are various tattoos covering them, and a sun tattoo covers her entire left pectoral region. Yuuki typically wears a grey tank top underneath a black wrap sweater, along with harem pants and black sandals.

The tattoo on her neck is a Latin quote written in Greek letters which reads, “I can live neither with you, nor without you.”

Likes:
- Street Food: Unlike in a restaurant, where it is a waiter who serves you, with street food it’s someone even more intimately involved. It is not surprising that they are more inclined to serve you with a smile. And that makes the good taste better too.
- Martial Arts: There is something about delivering a solid kick or punch that really makes you realize that you can do some serious damage if you need to. In a world where women are unfortunately still treated like the weaker sex, it is awesome to know that you can be just as tough (or tougher) than your male counterparts.
- Cats: Cats don’t require walking and, if they have access to a garden, are totally self-cleaning. Each cat has its funny little habits that make you laugh. Every one is an individual with its own personality.
Dislikes:
- Smoking: Smoking makes it harder for saliva to kill mouth bacteria that cause bad breath. As a result, smoking causes stains on the teeth and bad breath. Smoking causes about one-third to one-half of all cases to gum disease, where gums turn red and bleed, and can lead to tooth loss. It is also the main cause of mouth and tongue cancers.
- Ice: This can make the ground really slippery and makes it hard for anyone to stand on. This could make it dangerous if she was to counter a Titan.
- Chocolate: Chocolate is just something that Yuuki dislikes to eat. Be it chocolate cake, chocolate bonbons, etc. She just doesn’t like it. This is because she doesn’t like the taste of it and it looks yucky in her eyes.
Fears:
- Arachnophobia: It is a specific phobia, the fear of spiders and other arachnids such as scorpions. The reason why is because she thinks they are just way too creepy. The way they are formed and how they live, just scares the hell out of her.
- Claustrophobia: This is an abnormal fear of being in enclosed or narrow places. Because of a bad happening in her past, she became scared of closed and small spaces, making it hard for her to even breathe. There could even be a chance to faint if she is put under great stress.
- Yuuki is also scared to loose people who are in her group. Making her have the feeling that she could have done much more than she already has. It really frustrates her as she thinks about the ways that she could have had a chance to save them even though there is a possibility that she will lose her own life instead.
Motivations:
- Safety: She wants to make the peace return inside of the walls so that they do not have to worry about Titans breaking in again. She absolutely wants to prevent that scene from happening.
- No Fear: They have been living in fear for a long time now as humanity took a turn for the worse with the near extinction because of the Titans who infested the lands. To have some peace of mind, would really do good instead of falling apart from the stress that one could get.
- Seeing More: Who would not want to see more of the outside world when the Titans are gone for all. The beauty of the nature that is hidden behind those tall walls must be really eye-catching for anyone.

Character History

Background:
When Yuuki was still a kid, she had been shown a book full of pictures from the outside world as her parents were fascinated by it though had never been outside of the walls before as they did not have the courage to counter the Titans. This book though made a great interest and passion awaken inside of her. The thrill and excitement that rushed through her body would make her want only one thing anymore from then on and that was to see the world with her own eyes. Even having set her mind on joining the Scouting Legion in order to achieve that dream. No matter if it was really dangerous or not.

Once she was old enough to join the trainees corps, she told her parents about it who only gave her a shocked look as Yuuki had never told them anything about those plans before. So they needed some time to decide, but she was not going to give up and join even if her parents were against it. However as they agreed in her joining, it was the best day of her life as she immediately admitted herself to the training. She had been there for some years before finishing her dutiful training, being serious about it which could have made her score some points on her determination.

She had been admitted to the hospital several times because of little insignificant mistakes which could have cost her her life, but she did not want to back down and stayed where she was. Of course the recoveries were hard, and the training dreadful and even deadly sometimes, it was still worth of her time as she learned more and more about how to fight and how to handle the several gadjets there. If she had not come, she would have regretted it immensely. And eventually after all the hardships, she managed to pull through to the end and make it to the Scouting Legion.
